The location was on a business district but directly on top of a metro station and shopping mall. The beds were comfortable. Staff were extremely happy to help. The roof top bar was amazing and the reason we booked the hotel.

Great room (corner room), decent size, nicely designed and clean, really helpful and professional staff. It's right outside exit D of the MTR which is all accessible by lift (great for heavy bags). On site, there's a good roof top bar with harbour views. Plenty of lifts to cope with guests numbers (often not the case in Hong Kong). Didn't use the gym but it looked a decent one. The neighbourhood is local ie. residential with a handy supermarket close by.

Come back again after 5 years, and it is even better HIGHTLIGHT was Room cleaning staff is exceptional, we visited on Easter weekend and each time the room is spotless and feeling like it’s cleaner and cleaner each day after clean. A glass was broken by accident in room by kid and immediately was taking care of by cleaning staff. And the lady on phone first question is anyone ok. Which is outstanding than just Sure we will come right now. Also reception offered an early check in as the room is ready. Which is a nice surprise too. (wont expected that next time of course) Kids looking around and wanted to see swimming pool and it was a very warm welcomed again by staff on Gym and pool floor. HK really need these service and can feel that the staff working is genuinely happy. Which we felt the same too.

I booked the room for a secret birthday celebration for my girlfriend. I contacted the hotel staffs beforehand to seek their assistance in arranging the flowers and the cakes. The staffs were very very helpful and my celebration went very smoothly thanks to them, so the service at the hotel is top-notch. I am also very satisfied with my harborview room, it is classy and spacious, the view was breathtaking as well. The EAST Hotel overall has very nice interior designs, it is stylish, homely but dignified, typical of all Taikoo establishments. It is funny but I was blown away by the interior design of the male washroom at FEAST (restaurant of EAST), it is quite breathtaking. I booked FEAST and SUGAR (rooftop bar) for dinner and after-dinner drinks. I particularly enjoyed the semi-buffet at FEAST, the food was excellent. I liked the all-you-can-eat fresh oysters and my braised short ribs main dish which was so full of flavor. I also liked SUGAR, the cocktails there are nice and the bar is very chill, plus the view their is excellent too. I further want to give a shoutout to how convenient it is for me to go to Taikoo Plaza from EAST. It is just a footbridge away. This is quite wonderful as I can spend a whole day at Taikoo Plaza and return to the hotel without any need to brace the elements. When I was staying at the hotel, most of the time the weather was pretty bad; so I particularly appreciated how conveniently located EAST was. Overall, 5/5 stars experience and would definitely recommend anyone to visit.

Corner harbour view was worth every penny : although I knew what to expect and re-contacted the property to make sure Id get a great view, nothing prepared me for that magical feeling of opening your bedroom door and seeing Hong-Kong's gorgeous night views. Opening the blinds in the morning was just as magical. I also loved that the hotel was environmentally-friendly, very modern and very hip with tons of small initiatives taken to limit the environmental footprint of the stay. The location was also super convenient as a metro station is right by the hotel door (like 30 meters away) and is also super close to the Monster Building which is probably my favorite attraction/thing to see in Hong-Kong. Although I didn't swim because of poor weather, the pool views are pretty cool and original as you swim in the middle of tall buildings (rather than bay view as I think this is what you get in most HK hotel pools. Didn't try Sugaar, the hotel bar, but views looked beautiful. Catching a taxi for the airport was also super convenient.

Clean and nice decor and design. Artsy but not overdoing it. We were there on our honeymoon and really grateful that we got the best type of corner room (as advertised; truly gives you almost 180degree view) and a complimentary red wine. Most comfortable bath robe I’ve ever had! (Yes I had to resist stealing it…. Sort of haha) Room service was also quick and on point. We loved it so much we even extended our stay for a night. They have a nice rooftop bar though we didn’t stay long since we already have a wonderful panoramic view from our room.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Rooftop bar was incredible. Good coffee, up to Australian standards but very expensive, $12 for an almond flat white 😳 but was still worth it after being in China mainland for a week where good coffee does not exist. Close to train station and close to Japanese restaurants and Fineprint cafe if you like Australian coffee/food.

Location of the hotel is wonderful, very convenient! Staff are super helpful and friendly! We were given a corner room, it was fantastic, my family had a great time staying and would definitely come back and highly recommend to any future travellers!

The first of a number of hotels on our trip around Asia, we loved our stay here. We were upgraded to a corner room and the view was spectacular, even though we had a city view. The corner meant we could look back towards the harbour. Do use the blinds on the windows for privacy. The location is great for what we needed - close to family, the MTR and the mall City Plaza. The team at the front desk were amazing, the cafe downstairs great for a catch up with friends and we enjoyed a drink on the rooftop bar, Sugar. We had an issue with the plumbing but this was resolved promptly.

Modern, comfortable, spacious and light-filled hotel room. Not in the center of Hong Kong island but easy to get around with MTR station just on the door step. I would recommend this hotel, if you want to stay in a modern & spacious hotel (rare to find in HK) at a reasonable price. You're only a few stops away from 'down town' HK.
